I am very happy to be a part of this conclave – IIFTC.This is something that we all look forward to not only as a producer but also as an actor.
IIFTC is great platform for all of us from the film industry specially when there is so much of interest from all the countries participating.
As a director, locations that suit the subject of the script is very important and an integral part of a film . Half of the battle is won if you get a good location.
Events like the India International Film Tourism Conclave are the need of the hour. Coming together is the only way forward”. I applaud an initiative like this and I feel it should be conducted every single year.
The industry at large will benefit from IIFTC, good show FFI. The platform provided by IIFTC is very promising to uplift the whole scenario of foreign shoots in India, which would generate more tourism.
All the best for FFI’s endeavour - IIFTC.
Participating in IIFTC is a win-win situation for both filmmakers and tourism boards. I believe IIFTC is doing a great job in helping us explore the unexplored.
Participating in IIFTC was a fruitful experience for Oman Tourism. We were very happy with the turnout and the response we received. The interactions we had with the people we met were highly productive as quality and well established producers attended IIFTC. We received encouraging footfalls at our stall and even converted some inquiries into business. I wish IIFTC lots of luck and success.
After shooting in Asia, Europe and Australia, the South Indian film industry is very keen to shoot in Africa and other parts of the world. It is a right time for these new countries to exploit our interests.
The experience at IIFTC has been outstanding. We attend similar forums across the world but this one is the most focussed that we have been a part of. Since it is open only to the film fraternity, the right people ask the right questions here. It’s pure Business!
IIFTC 2014 was a great platform for DTTDC to showcase its locations in Delhi to the film fraternity of India. Tourism and films have a very intrinsic relationship. I am sure the FFI promoted, IIFTC will essay a critical role in enhancing it.
I believe conclaves like IIFTC are a perfect platform for regional filmmakers to gain information about the destinations and also provides us an opportunity to pitch our ideas and our stories to them.
